This webinar will focus on using Culturally Responsive Evaluation to help people in the current environment, amid a pandemic and social upheaval. Dominica McBride will present on a Chicago initiative that is designed to use evaluation for better rapid response and meeting the needs of more people. Dr. Dominica McBride is an award-winning evaluator and champion of Culturally Responsive Evaluation. She has conducted program development and evaluation projects with many diverse communities, both in the United States and Tanzania. She also conducts training for communities, coalitions, and organizations nationally. She has received awards from the American Evaluation Association, ARK of St. Sabina, and Bright Promises Foundation for her work in evaluation and community development. She has published articles and chapters on various topics, including culturally responsive evaluation, cultural competence, and prevention. Dr. McBride has also provided adult, child and family therapy as well as substance abuse counseling. She has a PhD in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Consultation from Arizona State University.
